    Interesting question friend .
    According Pat they're made in USA. Most probably hanging in France (American in Paris?)considering the (messy)electrical wiring and the height of the wall plug. Couldn't figure out the brand of the shorties though. Pictures supposedly are very old considering the quality.-Slydog
